We are having a problem updating our web cams, Lake temperature and Weather page. Please note that any information that is updated hourly, is really a few weeks old. Today's lake temperature is 76 degrees. Hopefully, AT&T will have the problem corrected by early next week. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Folsom Lake's is currently dropping around a 1/2' per day, but the lake is still in very good shape and is pretty much debris free. Weekends are very busy and long lines at the ramps is common. There is still a possiblity of ramps closing due to no parking, so boaters should try and arrive early. A State Pass allows you entrance into the park, but this is only if there is parking available. Boaters should try to launch by 12:00 or expect heavy traffic and possible ramp closures. While the ramps are always busy on weekend, usually around 4 & 6 boaters are both launching and retrieving their boats. This can slow the process down to a crawl, so all boaters need to have patience when using the ramps. Please read our Launching Ramps Procedures.
Tips for Parking: Please park your vehicle and trailer using only one space. Vehicles without trailers, should park in a single parking spaces if available. We are trying to keep vehicle/trailer spaces open for vehicles with boats. If there are no single spaces, please park behind a single vehicle and not beside it. If visitors watch how they park, more people will be able to enjoy a day at Folsom Lake. We appreciate your help.
